Halifax Choral Society, North Of England Concert Orchestra

Audiences never tire of this majestic work and the Halifax Choral Society never tire of performing it. They have done so every single year since their foundation in 1817 and sometimes more than once a year. This year will be special though. Never before have the Society held a Messiah with a complete team of brand new soloists. These soloists are at the very start of their careers, all straight from music Conservatoires and all completely brilliant. These are the names to watch in the future - Hazel McBain soprano, Penelope Cousland mezzo, Joshua Owen Mills tenor and Brian McBride baritone. This really promises to be a standout performance.
