The Salts are made up of seasoned musicians who play a mesmerising mix of full speed, foot-stomping traditional and original shanties. Doing for shanties what the Pogues did for folk, they create one of the most exciting and energetic folk concepts of recent times. Fronted by twice BBC Young Folk Finalist Lee Collinson, they fire a mighty yet respectful broadside at the traditional, with banjo, mandolin, guitars, double bass and percussion to the fore.

Guildford-based band The True Deceivers have been entertaining audiences with their unique brand of fiddle driven roots / folk since 2004. No stranger to outdoor venues The True Deceivers have been festival regulars ever since their inception appearing as far afield as Wales, Peterborough and Derbyshire. Their lively music is perfectly suited to the festival environment and guaranteed to get the audience involved.

The Crosstown Trio

A trio from Farnham, brought together by a passion for blues, folk and roots music. The trio enjoy integrating jazz, funk and Mediterranean style elements into their music, resulting in a warm tonality and moving rhythms that vary from shuffles to swings to off beat reggae grooves. Occasionally exotic instruments make an appearance on stage, but for the most part, the band use an acoustic guitar, full drum kit and double bass, layered with lead and smooth harmonizing vocals.
