English String Band, Roger Digby

This will be an evening to remember! The English String Band is the coming together of some of the finest English traditional stringed instrument musicians on the country. We've got them booked for a barn dance on Saturday 7th February at Godalming Borough Hall so we thought we'd ask them if they would like to perform at the folk club the night before. They said "yes". All of them!

For the folk club this line-up will be joined by Roger Digby (Anglo Concertina - Flowers & Frolics) for an evening of solo and accompanied songs, monologues, instrumental pieces plus various combinations of the members of the band and, of course, two or three full band sets.
