Village Visit Day

For all ages: live in HP? Visit for free! We will be open for free as part of Great Missenden’s Village Day. Join in with a Golden Ticket Trail where visitors can hunt for five tickets around the Museum to find out facts about Roald Dahl. Take a behind-the-scenes look at our archive store which houses Roald Dahl’s manuscripts and letters, with Collections manager and archivist, Rachel White at 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm (Age 10+ £1 per person), and join in with storytelling and drop-in crafts throughout the day.

Free entry for HP postcode residents - bring a utility bill as proof. Archive tours are £1 per person. We recommend pre-booking for workshops as spaces are limited. You can do this by calling 01494 892192 up until 4:30pm on the day before you visit.
