Grayshott Folk Club Presents
MTWA played for us at Grayshott Village Hall last February. The band had a blast, the sell-out audience loved what they heard and we have established a mutual admiration society.
Martin Turner was the founder-member of Wishbone Ash in the 70s and as songwriter, Bass player and lead vocalist, was central to their huge success. Make no mistake, this is no tribute band. Instead, Martin has surrounded himself with top-notch musicians. Danny Willson and Ray Hatfield reproduce the authentic Wishbone Ash twin guitar sound and capture the vitality of their live performances, whilst drummer Tim Brown adds the beat subtly but persuasively.
If like me, you spent hours and hours listening to the ground-breaking "Argus" album or loved "There's the Rub", then this is for you.
Tonight we will once again re-live the halcyon days of our youth as Grayshott Village Hall pulsates to the sound of one of the top-selling Rock bands from the 1970s.
