Polkaworks, Nick Walden

Back by public demand this is the first of a limited season of three dances. And what better band to begin with than PolkaWorks featuring the very best of musicians from many of the country's top folk groups. The line-up consists of Sue Harris on hammer dulcimer, Fi Fraser and Nina Hansell on fiddles, Katie Howson and Jeannie Harris on squeezeboxes and Gareth Kiddier on keyboards.

Calling the dances will be the ever-popular Nick Walden who will putting everyone, newcomer and experienced dancer, through their paces.

GBH Ceilidhs have been going since 1976. The raison d'etre has always been to book the best and most exciting English folk dance bands and dance callers from all over the country. Experts and newcomers are all welcome, especially the latter as it is important that we keep the tradition alive and thriving.
