Gloucester Cathedral Choirboys
Benjamin Britten's popular A Ceremony Of Carols is a setting of texts in Middle English, written for boys' voices and harp accompaniment.
The work opens and ends with the boys in candlelit procession to plainsong, and the sections in-between deal with the traditional stories surrounding the birth of Christ.
Following last year's performance to a packed audience in the Lady Chapel with standing room only, this year's concert takes place in the space of the Cathedral Quire to ensure that everyone can get a seat.
