brought the bass guitar to the melodic forefront of jazz and pop music and his big band, the Word of Mouth Orchestra, blended rhythm and blues, Caribbean sunshine, bebop momentum and rocking intensity into a sizzling, creative fiesta; perfect for a chilly winter evening!
