Fridays At One - Professor Fali Pavri: Reflections On India

As the last reverberations of Commonwealth celebrations echo in Glasgow, Professor Fali Pavri juxtaposes the western Classical repertoire of Bach and Beethoven's Ab Piano Sonata with two works by Indian composer John Mayer influenced by Indian classical music.

Calcutta-Nagar is a series of vignettes on the composer's hometown, and for the meditative Prabhanda Fali is joined by his wife, cellist Naomi
Boole-Masterson.
