A dispute between the King and Queen of the Fairies brings the world of the supernatural and unsuspecting humans crashing together in an enchanted, nocturnal forest. As magic permeates the dreams of two pairs of lovers, their plans are thrown into chaos, and spells cast upon a group of actors rehearsing a play results in pandemonium.
