Back On The Boards: Ma Baby / A Silent Shore

'Ma Baby' is a monologue from a Glasgow single mother, who describes the emotional strain of bringing up her mentally disadvantaged child.

'A Silent Shore' is a full-length social realism drama dealing with the terminal stages of cancer in a young man. It is a sombre but authentic depiction of an individual coming to terms with illness and mortality. The play develops from the perspective of this man as his life draws inexorably to a close.
