King Tut's New Year's Revolution: Miaoux Miaoux + Roman Nose + Organs of Love
ing Tut’s New Year’s Revolution is the perfect start to the New Year for fans of fresh, new music and comes with a guarantee that music lovers will discover their new favourite band over the course of the festival. There will be a limited number of £30 Golden Tickets on sale which allow the holder entry into EVERY show of the festival.
Miaoux Miaoux, aka Julian Corrie has up until now been a solo effort, with Julian multitasking with pedals, drum machines, synths and guitar to stunning effect.
The addition of a live drummer (Liam Chapman) and bass player (Liam Graham) has made the Miaoux Miaoux sound bigger than ever, and allowed more electronic elements to be played live – samples are triggered and guitars looped all in realtime.

Roman Nose sees two generations of Sheffield avant garde united with Jon Marshall (The Hunter Gracchus/Singing Knives) and Charlie Collins (Clock DVA/The Box).

Almost impossible to categorise, Organs of Love (El Rancho Records) is the latest project in the long and varied musical career of Jim McKinven (Berlin Blondes, Altered Images, One Dove). Moving away from the slick productions of One Dove and the indie-pop of Altered Images, Organs of Love is a veritable behemoth of lo-fi weirdness that sounds like it's come oozing straight out of some seedy swamp dive on Saturn.
