Back to Life Tour: Inspiral Carpets
Following a summer of festival appearances, Inspiral Carpets have announced that they are performing their debut album 'Life' for the first time in its entirety on a full UK tour.
The album has been re-mastered and will be accompanied by the long awaited DVD version of their legendary G-Mex performance '21790'. 'Life' was released in 1990 and reached number 2 in the UK album charts.
Inspiral Carpets
Inspiral Carpets ranked alongside the Happy Mondays and the House of Love as one of the leading bands on the Madchester indie scene during the late '80s and early '90s. Songs like 'This Is How It Feels' and 'She Comes In the Fall' remain indie anthems over a decade later. The band reformed in 2011 with their original singer Stephen Holt taking over lead vocal duties. Rediscovering their garage band roots, Inspirals will be recording their first material in 15 years coupled with worldwide live concerts.
