British Basketball League

One of the showpiece events in the UK basketball calendar has a new home as the Emirates Arena, Glasgow will play host to the 2013 BBL Trophy Final.

Trophy Final Day is one of the most eagerly-anticipated during the BBL (men's professional league in the UK) season as the stars of the British game lay it all on the line in pursuit of this coveted piece of silverware. This season the Final will take place in Scotland for the first time in the competitions history, in the illustrious surroundings of the brand new Emirates Arena, Glasgow.

Last season saw a tense finale to the Trophy competition as the Newcastle Eagles narrowly saw off the challenge of the UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders.

As pre-cursor to the main event, Scottish basketball takes centre stage as we are thrilled to be staging top level Scottish men's basketball action as the City of Edinburgh Kings and Clark Eriksson Falkirk Fury battle it out for the BBL Challenge Shield.

The event also features a host of other entertainment including the fantastic BBL Babes Cheerleaders, All Star Acrobatic Dunkers, FOXY the BBL mascot and much more.
