What? Can the devil speak true? Giffnock Theatre Players are performing their first ever Shakespearean production this October.
Macbeth is a brave Scottish general who is admired and trusted by King Duncan. However, when he meets three witches who prophesise that he will one day be King, he becomes consumed with greed and ambition for power.
Pushed, encouraged and manipulated by his wife, Macbeth’s life spirals out of control as his fate unfolds and he embarks upon a course of murder, guilt, paranoia, obsession and madness.
