National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO)
Led by Bill Ashton, NYJO is a 22-piece band with two vocalists which can be enjoyed by general music loving audiences as well as jazz aficionados. A truly uplifting celebration of the big band sound from an under-25 orchestra with many of its players destined to become the next UK jazz generation. The repertoire is enormous, covering a wide variety of styles. "Forget the word ‘youth’, this is one of the best bands you will ever hear" -Sir John Dankworth.
