To celebrate Dylan Thomas’s Centenary the team behind the Laugharne Weekend will be presenting three special festival weekends, each one inspired by a different aspect of Dylan’s talent.
The second weekend will be from September 19th - 21st and will feature music and film - a celebration of the strangeness and beauty of Wales and its ancient culture.
The musical side of things will feature an all Welsh line-up ranging from folk to psychedelia, but all of it rooted in the customs and culture of the artists’ home country. The film side of the weekend will sport a mix of odd and wonderful cinema feature films made in Wales from the 20s to the present day, plus an eclectic selection of archive footage of lost Welsh folk culture.
Buckle up for the weirdest weekend yet in Wales’s strangest township. This is the lost world that Dylan Thomas came roaring out of.
