This years Festival is named ‘Senses’ and will cover all five aspects, with an exhibition and the spectacle of opera for 'vision', concerts, comedy and discussion for 'listening', a tasting evening of North East produce for 'taste' and 'smell' and even the gentle hold of a couple in the new Tea Dance for 'touch'.
Haddo fills your senses – a sense of history, a sense of peace, a sense of beauty. Arts events can fill us with a sense of well-being and hopefully this years programme of beautiful music and wonderful performances will bring a sense of wonder and joy too.
The programming follows the bones of last years, with a similarly starry line up to include HHCOS, Scottish Opera, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra.
