Cask Ale Week - Beer & Food Festival

The Assembly are celebrating Cask Ale Week with a new real ale, Wills Neck a SIBA National gold medal winner from Quantock Brewery 4.3%. An excerpt from their tasting notes says, "This bright golden ale has a rich malty flavour and is late hopped to produce a prominent aroma with hints of grapefruit and cherries and a lasting bitterness on the palate".

We are starting the Cask Ale Week with this ale and then we have a variety of real ales to follow that are all brewed only in Somerset. Somerset breweries: Abbey Ales, Cotleigh, Cottage Ales, R.C.H., Yeovil Ales.

This Somerset promotion will also include some guest ciders that are all pressed in Somerset and some fine cheeses all from the Bath Cheese Company.

October is the month of The Great Bath Feast Festival which is why we have the above all conditioning nicely in our Cask Marque approved cellar. Except for the cheeses!
