Debs Newbold

Debs Newbold is the Storyteller for Shakespeare's Globe in London and has performed her reworkings of the Bard's plays at venues including The Hay Literary Festival, The British Library and The Royal Opera House.

This new storytelling piece for adults has taken her back even further in literary history, rewriting stories by Chaucer, Bocaccio and the anonymous writer of a fruity French geste.

Described as "three frollicksome tales from Merrie Olde Europe" - one English, one Italian, one French - each story is full of medieval humour and colourful characters.
