After an unbelievable first term with four large parties taking off in
the Cavern, the Mahatma team have been working unceasingly through the
darkest days of winter to source the best in upcoming, original UK
musical talent for our second series of dates.

With latest single "Another Stranger" premiered as Zane Lowe's Next
Hype on BBC Radio 1, for four-piece band Twin Wild, things can only
get bigger and better - indeed the band have just been added to XFM's
playlist and as Jo Good's track of the day. Recording in the same
studio where the fledgling Arctic Monkeys cut their legendary first
album, Richard Hutchison (vocals, guitar), Imran Mair (drums), David
Cuzner (guitar) and Edward Thomas (bass) blend rock & roll with pop
songwriting, catchy riffs and huge choruses. To date, "Fears" released
this Spring, has racked up over 300,000 plays on Soundcloud.

Ailsa Tully

A hugely exciting talent calling to mind the indie-folk sounds of
Laura Marling and Joni Mitchell, Ailsa Tully blends rich,
imagery-laden songwriting with alternative cello techniques. With
recent single "Feathered Friend" described by BBC Introducing Wales as
"inexplicable, transcendental excellence" when played this December,
we can't wait to have her join us in Exeter.

Gaining support slots for Sigma, Toyboy & Robin, Artful Dodger,
Redlight and more, Odd & Topick have gone from strength to strength
since joining forces in October. Adding original tracks and remixes to
their considerable repertoire of UK bass, garage & house, these boys
will be running things on the Cavern stage.
