Stephen Sondheim's dark and intricate musical thriller - a multi-award-winning Broadway & West End show later filmed with Johnny Depp & Helena Bonham Carter.
Encouraged by pie-shop owner Mrs Lovett, barber Sweeney Todd takes awful revenge for the loss of his family - supplying delicious pie-filling as he goes. As the tale spirals madly towards it's tragic conclusion, it's clear that Sweeney Todd is no ordinary musical.
Evesham Operatic and Dramatic Society is proud to present this amateur production by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Limited on behalf of Music Theatre International of New York.
