3 Shorts began in the blistering cold of January when lots aspiring comedy script writers sent through their 30 minutes of funny stage time. After the Alphabetti team sifted and giggled their way through a hefty pile of comedy scripts, they finally agreed on 3 winners.

These 3 Winners will be getting their shorts out in June whatever the weather! Their work will be produced and performed by the company that was described by the BBC as ‘Original, off the wall and clever’ and showcased at the Multi-Performance Venue, upstairs at the Dog and Parrot in Newcastle’s City Centre.

The plays:
