Nick Danziger – Revisited

In 2000, the United Nation’s Eight Millennium Development Goals were put in place to, amongst other objectives, achieve universal primary education, reduce child mortality and improve maternal health. In 2005, photographer Nick Danziger was commissioned by World Vision, the international development and advocacy organization, to create an archive of photographs documenting the lives of women and children in eight countries across the world.

In 2010, Nick managed to retrace his steps and find out what has happened to the women and children he met five years previously. This exhibition showcases both sets of images, and will provide a profound insight into how when local and international communities come together, lives can be irrevocably be changed for the better.
