Carnaby Street Fashion: Photo Stories With Homer Sykes

On two days over two consecutive Saturdays, 12 to 15 participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to receive feedback on their work in a group setting and produce a new series of documentary/fashion photographs around the iconic Carnaby Street, Soho.

Under the guidance of leading photographer Homer Sykes, this is a rare and wonderful opportunity to gain first-hand advice in an informal and dynamic environment from a photographer with over 40 years of professional experience in street and editorial photography.

Participants will be expected to submit 10 to 15 images prior to the workshop, and to bring and be familiar with settings on a digital SLR camera. As well as group discussion and feedback on planning, shooting and editing, each participant will partake in a one-on-one session with Sykes on Carnaby Street, just a stone's throw away from The Photographers' Gallery.

Workshop booking includes a free ticket to the Homer Sykes' Artist Talk on Fri 15 March.
