Minehead Panto People

Come along to hiss and boo the Sheriff, give a cheer for Robin Hood and his Merry Men, and sing along to all the lively numbers from the Panto Band.

In this traditional pantomime the unfortunate babes are orphaned and sent to live with their uncle, the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham. He forces the village layabouts, Ruff and Reddy, to take the babes deep into the forest to kill them, so that he can inherit all their money. But as with all pantomimes good overrides evil and Robin Hood and his Merry Men, Little John, Friar Tuck, Will Scarlett and Alan’A’Dale, come to the rescue and save them.

This pantomime has something for all the family, plenty of slapstick and humour, a boxing match (with a difference) and a beautiful ballet scene, performed by Manda's School of Dance. There are baggy trousers, school madness and mayhem, cuddly rabbits, a grumpy bear, and a monster of the moat!
