Father Christmas

Meet Santa and his real live reinder, visit him in his enchanted grotto (with every paying child receiving a present), enjoy the staff mini pantomime and even more festive fun!

8.30am – 4.00pm - Enchanted Grotto, Near Discovery Centre (Near to map ref. 2)
Visit Santa in his magical grotto (see details of Mother Christmas and Signing santa.)

11.00am - Zoo Panto ‘Beauty and the Beast’, Kalahari Theatre (Behind Sun Bears, 1)
The staff of Colchester zoo put on another festive helping of Panto madness.
Please be aware, capacity is limited at the theatre so do get there early!

11.30am - Elves tend Santa’s Reindeer, Near Walking Giants (16)
Find out all about the reindeer as Santa’s elves check and feed them.

12.30pm - ‘Rocking with Rudolf’, Outside Cafe UmPhafa (Near to map ref. 3)
Come along and rock around with Rudolf to some favourite Christmas tunes.

1.00pm – Santa’s Arrival, Displays arena (12)
Meet Santa and his reindeer along with some of his favourite friends on the displays arena

2.00pm - Elf Tales, Kalahari Theatre (Behind Sun Bears, 1)
Storytelling, singing and dancing make for a real Christmas cracker of a show for kids both young and old.

2.30pm –“The Night Before Christmas”, Wild about Animals Theatre (14)
It’s Christmas eve, but it certainly won’t be a silent night in this live animal show.

3.00pm - Elves tend Santa’s Reindeer, Near Walking Giants (16)
