A production of one of Spain's literary masterpieces performed in Spanish.

Federico Garcia Lorca described the play as a 'tragic poem' and this production does justice to this concept. 'Yerma' means 'barren' and this is the story of a childless woman, living in rural Spain in the '30s, who is angry and bewildered because her husband has no desire to have children.

Eventually her obsession leads her to commit a horrendous crime...
