13 Stars
Based in Carlisle and led by the enigmatic Matt 'Hoss' Thompson, 13 Stars take their name from the Betsy Ross Flag (itself an act of rebellion and revolution). The band rebel against artistic restraints and being pigeon holed. Their ethos is to play passionately what they want, when they want and how they want!
They've supported Fish, John Waite, Dan Reed, It Bites, Mick Pini, Jon Amor and have played a storming set at the 2011 Maryport Blues Festival.
