Jamie’s Scottish Evening

Enjoy a night of traditional Scottish entertainment you’ll never forget at Jamie’s Scottish Evening at The King James by Thistle in the heart of Scotland’s capital city. Featuring bagpipes, Highland dancers, the Address to the Haggis and the best in Scottish music and cuisine, this is the quintessential introduction to Scottish culture.

Sample some of Scotland’s finest culinary delights during a delicious four course meal, followed by a feel-good show featuring some of Scotland’s best traditional performers. Try haggis – Scotland’s national dish, witness incredible displays of Highland dancing, and hear the stirring sounds of the bagpipes courtesy of Jamie’s own Pipe Major.

Jamie’s Scottish Evening features a cast of performers from across the length and breadth of Scotland, including compere and singer Bruce Davies, fiddler Gemma Donald – the youngest ever winner of the Glenfiddich Fiddle Championships – and band leader and renowned accordionist Gordon Pattullo.

Experience the dramatic Address to a Haggis, the famous poem written by Rabbie Burns in 1786, and join the cast for a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne to bring the evening to a close.

Running for more than 40 years, Jamie’s Scottish Evening is the longest running stage show of its kind in Scotland – and the only one in central Edinburgh.

Tickets include show, four course meal and a half bottle of wine or a pint of beer. Soft drink alternatives are available.
