Turner And Turners In Scotland
Turner visited or toured Scotland six times, in 1797, 1801, 1818, 1822, 1831 and 1834. In this talk, Eric Shanes, one of the world’s leading authorities on the artist and his major biographer, will explore the artistic results of those visits, while also examining a number of the most important Turners that still hang in Scottish galleries.
Please note this lecture will last for one hour.
