From Death To Death And Other Small Tales - Curator’s Talk

Lucy Askew, Senior Curator at the Gallery of Modern Art, will give an introduction to this exhibition that brings together works from one of the most significant private holdings of modern and contemporary art, the D.Daskalapoulos Collection, with key pieces from the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.

The exhibition specifically focuses on the theme of the body and this introduction will explore some of the diverse ways that artists have used this compelling and provocative theme to investigate emotional and psychological states, the cycles of life and death and questions of identity.
