Pennies From Heaven Revisited

Being the anniversary of the First World War, this musical was especially written and is dedicated to everyone who lost their lives in the two World Wars. It is being staged to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support; the local branch that help people suffering from cancer in Eastbourne and surrounding districts.

‘Pennies from Heaven Revisited’ is a musical play written by John Collings and directed by Paul Bentinck that is set during the Second World War. It tells of a couple that fall in love and the obstacles they have to overcome during the stressful period. There are songs in the musical from the original TV series “Pennies from Heaven” sung by professionally trained singing actors.
