My Gay Best Friend

Spend Valentine's Night in the company of My Gay Best Friend! The Eastbourne Under Ground Theatre is delighted to welcome the Theatre’s patron Louise Jameson with Nigel Fairs in their sparkling new play. The show is a heady mix of high camp, fun, friendships and the childhood dramas that haunt us all. Both highly experienced and acclaimed actors, Louise and Nigel are well-known and well-loved by UGT audiences.

Racquell (Louise) is a 50-something would-be diva who works in Boots, and is about to make her stage debut. She’s locked herself in the ladies, furious that her gay best friend (Nigel) isn’t there to support her. He’s…well ... see the play and enjoy the surprise.

This exciting play has been specially selected to be shown on Valentine’s Day to give audiences a fun alternative night out. As the 14th February is also `Anti Violence Against Women’ day, Louise will make a curtain speech at the end of the play in support of Domestic Abuse Volunteer Support Service. Bucket donations will be gratefully accepted.
