My Cool Sixties: Live
The “My Cool Sixties” month at the Eastbourne Under Ground Theatre culminates on Saturday 27th April – with a live on stage appearance by the man whose autobiography inspired the title, former rock journalist and performer, Tony Norman.
In the past, Tony Norman has written for “Jackie”, “Music Now”, and “NME”, among others, and has interviewed John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, the Kinks, and many more. As he says: “The Sixties was a special time – like no other.”
At the Under Ground, he’ll be sharing some of the anecdotes that feature in his autobiography, and some that don’t, as well as demonstrating his talents as a guitarist and singer of Sixties songs, alongside Al Collins (harmonica) and Bruce Pont (percussion).
Copies of Tony’s book will be available. And Fairtrade coffee and tea and home-made cakes will also be on sale throughout.
