Buster Plays Buster: Buster Birch
Captivating audiences since its premiere last year this exciting show, a combination of classic silent film and live jazz will be coming to the Eastbourne Under Ground Theatre on 8th February.
The Buster Keaton 1924 pre-talkie movie ‘Sherlock Junior’ will be shown whilst the talented Buster Birch Quartet perform live. The music is synchronized to the movie but features plenty of improvised solos from the musicians enhancing the film and capturing the mood of each different scene.
For the first set of this gig the quartet will perform their tribute to the greats' which includes some jazz standards by the likes of Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker and Bill Evans, performed along to some short movies created especially for the music.
This delightful show will provide an unforgettable and unique experience for any audience.
