Alan Barnes Liquorice-Stick All-Stars
Lead by Alan Barnes on clarinet and Jim Hart on vibes, sometimes joined by the amazing virtuoso percussionist Paul Clavis. The group aims to recreate and celebrate the excitement and inventiveness of Benny Goodman’s small groups and the repertoire includes compositions by many of Goodman’s contemporaries, and most importantly Django Reinhardt.
