Honor Blackman

Honor Blackman has had a career on stage, television and in films that extends over sixty years. She is marking this achievement by launching a new show in which she simply appears – as herself.

In conversation with director Richard Digby Day, she tells stories of her childhood, growing up during the Second World War, her rise to stardom, her leather-clad triumph in The Avengers, and her casting as Pussy Galore in Goldfinger.

She shares anecdotes concerning family, friends and colleagues, the difficulties filming nude scenes both hilarious and otherwise and the necessity to rebuff producers eager to make her a star - at a price. There will also be some songs.
