Warren Vache & Alan Barnes Quintet
Watermill Jazz is delighted to welcome American cornettist Warren Vache for a first-time appearance here, alongside regular visitor, Alan Barnes.
Alan is one of Britain’s most distinguished and versatile saxophonists/clarinettists and is renowned for his rapport with audiences, for his music and his quick-witted humour.
The quintet will be playing material from their new CD The Cobbler’s Waltz. This includes music by Benny Carter, Johnny Hodges and Ray Noble, as well as the title track itself composed by Warren. Robin Aspland, Andrew Cleyndert and Matt Home complete the lineup.
