Doddington Does Vintage

Expect vintage retailers, music, games, delicious cake, vintage cars, Betsy the ice-cream van and a mini church fete!

In the Coach House there will be a fantastic vintage fair with friendly stallholders selling their retro and collectable items - fashion, furniture, jewellery plus kitchen, home and garden goods. (Fashionistas will swept off their vintage kitten heels when they meet Vintage Versace, who offers fantastic, genuine vintage designer clothing!) Browse an amazing carefully-chosen choice of goods, and find something unique and fabulous for yourself, your home or as a gift.

There'll be a DJ playing some vinyl-only music to suit the theme, and you can also enjoy a vintage themed pop-up cafe in the Coach House garden, where a marquee will protect you from the sun (or rain!). Expect lovely cakes and old-fashioned drinks.

Betsy, the restored 1971 Bedford ice-cream van who – helped by her loving owner Amy Wilkinson – will sell you lovely Bradwell's ice-cream, made from a 100 year-old recipe containing butter and cream.

On the East Front, there'll be vintage games to enjoy, including quoits, garden dominoes and Jenga with the popular Gatehouse team.

Vintage cars will be displayed in front of the Hall.

In the courtyard in front of the India Jane store, members of the village will be holding a small fete for St Peter's Church Doddington – expect stalls to include tombola, guessing games etc.
