Described as 'haunting', 'gutsy', 'tribal' and even psychedelic, Blues in Britain says, 'From the first note, Spikedrivers demand to be listened to.' They have been compared to Fleetwood Mac, Ry Cooder, JJ Cale, Led Zeppelin, The Band, Pentangle, and even Pink Floyd. Inspired by early blues legends - Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker and others - they add their own blend of north African and Native American rhythms, gospel harmonies, sixties blues and rock guitar.
