Valentino Rossi is aiming to resume his winning spree at a circuit that he regards as his second home but first the six times holder of the World MotoGP crown will have to head off the challenge of Casey Stoner theDucati rider who has beaten him in each of the previous two races at the Leicestershire circuit. Rossi has won eight world titles in total in an illustrious career but the 29 year old Italian is eager for more as he continues with the factory Yamaha team but nothing comes easy in the elite series with Stoner eager to bit back and regain the crown. Nicky Hayden, the champion of 2006, has joined Stoner at Ducati and the Kentucky Kid is replaced at Honda by Andrea Dovizioso who teams up with Dani Pedrosa. The man they will have to watch however is James Toseland - in his second term in the top flight, the former twice Superbike World Champion, is aiming high as he continues with the Tech3 Yamaha team. Adding to the mix is 125cc Grand Prix action with Scott Redding bidding for a repeat of his stunning victory of 2008 and 250cc Grand Prix racing.
