Last Night At The Proms Special – Commemorating The 100th & 75th Anniversaries of WW1 & 2
The British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra commemorate the 100th anniversary of WW1 and the 75th Anniversary of WW2, an evening of reflection, rousing tunes, flag waving, whistle blowing and of course Pomp and Circumstance, for which our forefathers fought and for which many gave their lives to preserve.
Join the British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and star singers John Hudson and Anna Clare Monk who perform wonderful music from the periods including traditional tunes and songs as well as film music and classical music of the times.
Presenter Mark Langley keeps the evening bubbling along with appropriate verse, witty readings, anecdotes, and fun.
