Latin jazz and salsa rhythms. Their music is fresh and exciting, encompassing both memorable original compositions and new arrangements of classics such as “Besame Mucho” and “Mack the Knife”. The Heads South five-piece line-up is led by pianist/composer John Harriman and features the outstanding jazz trumpeter Steve Waterman, Cuban percussionist Chino Martell Morgan, the versatile Buster Birch on drums, and Uruguayan Andres Lafone on bass guitar.
