Lets Rock The Moor!: Bananarama + Tony Hadley + Altered Images + Five Star + Midge Ure + Howard Jones
Pioneering Girl Power pop trio whose chart-topping exploits in the Eighties guaranteed their worldwide acclaim. Sara and Keren have been successfully recording and touring as a duo since 1991, when Siobhan's replacement, Jacquie, left the band.
Bananarama tour dates
As lead singer of Spandau Ballet, Tony Hadley has, over the years, earned the accolade of being one of pop music’s greatest vocalists. Pioneers of the '80s Romantic movement, Spandau Ballet had numerous chart topping singles and albums all over the world, the most memorable being the singles "Gold" and the international number one "True", the latter famously sampled by PM Dawn in 1991.
As a solo artist in his own right who has spent the past twenty years entertaining audiences all over the world with his stunning rich voice that has lost none of its power. To date Tony has released four solo studio albums; 'State of Play' on EMI Records, two albums through Universal Records, a self-titled album in 1998, and 'True Ballads' in 2003. In 2006, on his own label, Slipstream Records, he released his long-awaited swing album 'Passing Strangers'.

One of the brightest stars in the 80s new wave sky, Altered Images are best remembered for their no.1 single 'Happy Birthday'. Their bubbly lead singer Claire Grogan originally shot to fame in the film 'Gregory's Girl', then later went on to appear in 'Red Dwarf', 'EastEnders', 'Skins' and was a presenter on music station VH1.

Originally from Romford, Essex, Five Star were dubbed 'Britain's answer to the Jackson 5', with their dynamic sound and fabulous dance routines. The darlings of the pop world in the mid-80s, Five Star rocked the British and US pop charts in the 80s, and scored a total of 16 top 40 singles, 6 of which went top ten, and achieved a multi-platinum selling UK No.1 album in 1986 with 'Silk & Steel'. A formidable live act in the 80s, they sold out 6 nights at Wembley Arena on their 1987 UK tour.
Five Star tour dates
From Slik and The Rich Kids to Ultravox and Band Aid, Midge has produced consistently innovative and excellent pop music. Fronting Ultravox, Midge had nine top 10 albums and sold in excess of 20 millions records in the UK alone before moving on to an equally successful solo career. His most successful song though remains the multi-million selling Do They Know It's Christmas, which he co-wrote with Bob Geldof.
Midge Ure tour dates
A respectable face of eighties pop with strong feelings on animal rights and life's excesses. His catchy chart-topping tunes with erudite and meaningful lyrics have earned him a fans and respect the world over. He scored a string of worldwide hits including 'New Song', 'What Is Love?' and 'No one Is To Blame'. Best known for his synth work, Jones is also a classically trained pianist and released 3 albums in 2007, including 'Piano Solos volume 2'.
