Virtuoso trombonist and composer Dennis Rollins is well known on the British jazz scene. His latest project , Velocity Trio, is yet another of his many successful endeavours. Ribble Valley Jazz Festival is delighted to present this innovator of modern jazz with a 'power trio' of rare instrumentation (trombone led, with Hammond organ and drums. Dennis' powerful and inventive trombone creates all the moods from funky and groovy to very melodic and lyrical.
