A Doll?s House

A Doll's House takes place over three days (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
and Boxing Day) in the Helmers' apartment in 19th century Norway.

Torvald and Nora Helmer appear to have a loving, happy marriage. However we soon learn that several years ago Torvald was dangerously ill, and Nora illegally borrowed a large sum of money to save his life - something which she has kept secret from him ever since.
