Yo ho ho and shiver me timbers! Prepare to buckle your swash as the award-winning Highcliffe Charity Players find all the hidden treasure in Robert Louis Stevenson’s pirate adventure Treasure Island, their eagerly awaited New Year family panto. So it’s all aboard the good ship ‘Hispaniola’ as we set sail for a boatload of fun and frolics in this terrific panto.

In their hilarious new take on Stevenson’s much-loved classic, ‘Treasure Island’ meets ‘Robinson Crusoe’. And Crusoe is a suave, James Bond figure with a very curvaceous Girl Friday (plus her lovely friends Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). The Dame is Ma Hawkins who, helped by her young son Jim, runs The Admiral Benbow Inn.

When Jim finds a treasure map in an old chest, the fun begins, and they sail for Treasure Island with Inn owner, Squire Trelawney and his pretty daughter, Felicity. Of course, Long John Silver and his silly pirates Brass and Knuckles, are after the treasure too (boo!). But with the help of the traditional Fairy Godmother, good is sure to prevail.
