The Nationale Reisopera, Dorset Opera

Smaller-scale 'pocket-operas' are especially created for and by The Reisopera's team of young resident artists - singers, directors, designers and musicians - all of whom seek to gain performance experience at the dawn of their careers.

Artists are selected from a pool of international candidates - the pursuit of excellence being the Reisopera's primary goal.

In an exciting collaboration with the Dorset Opera Festival, the Nationale Reisopera comes to the UK this summer with a live pocket performance of Puccini's La Boheme. The aim is to cross the borders of our two culture-loving nations to present opera as a living, ever-changing and ultimate art form.
