Arun & Chichester (Air) Enthusiasts Society Inaugural Meeting: Air Aces

For anyone, including those interested in ‘Air’ – such as – civil and commercial pilots,
airline workers, air operators, glider pilots, RAF association and other services members, anyone who is interested in aircraft, ‘air show buffs’, volunteers who help in the air industry / museums etcetera.

Come along and learn about this new group, with monthly meetings starting in the new year.

David Batcock, one of the founding team members said. ”It is our aim to get those interested in aviation together once a month to meet and hear guest speakers talking about their experiences. Subjects will range from flying Concord, being a Harrier test pilot to that of Air Support with the regions medical and police units.” He added, “You name it we have it and there is a waiting list of speakers wishing to attend.”

“The region is steeped in aviation history and we have the Tangmere Museum and the very popular Royal Air Forces Association Shoreham Airshow. Tucked away down the byways of Hampshire and Sussex are many aviation enthusiasts who I am sure would like to meet once a month to share their experiences and listen to some real characters talking about their past.

Coffee, tea and biscuits will be available.

Contact David on 01243-823007 ot email david.batcock@virgin.net to confirm your attendance (just to give a rough idea of numbers) and for any further information.
